[RBS] Girls! Learn to be safe!

Teen girls self defense series in RBS A!
Beginning Thursday December 6, 2012 for high school age
girls.
 
This course will train the girls how to think and act to
keep themselves safe.  They will learn:
*To identify potentially dangerous situations and people. 
*To strengthen the girls' self confidence and develop
assertiveness in response to undesirable behaviors, including the importance of
confident body language and verbal confidence.
*Learn simple self defense techniques including an
"IMPACT!" workshop, that do not rely on size or strength to be
effective.
*To acquire a variety of techniques for managing threatening
situations.
*How to deal with bullying and peer pressure
*How be proactive in preventing violent situations.
 
The course includes five two hour sessions with a
professional, certified instructor.
