[RBS] adult-level book in Hebrew about rabbis of 13th-17th century Russia or Poland?

Does anyone have an adult-level book (or academic article) in Hebrew to lend
about an outstanding rabbi or rabbis of 13th-17th century Russia or Poland -
e.g. the Rema, the Sha"ch, the Ta"z, the Pri Megadim, the Maharal, the Magen
Avraham, R' Mordechai Yaffa, R' Yaakov Polak?  My daughter in university
needs to write a report on one such personality.
