[RBS] Lev Hatorah 6K Run for Lema'an Achai

Much controversy has arisen after Lema'an Achai's posting on our website 
regarding the upcoming 6K run for men and boys.

The run was conceived and organized by Yeshivat Lev HaTorah students.

We would like to clarify our position.

Lema'an Achai was approached by Yeshivat Lev HaTorah with the initiative to 
organize a 6k marathon run to benefit Lema'an Achai.

The administration of Yeshivat Lev HaTorah requested that the run be open to 
men and boys only.

It is well known that Lema'an Achai organizes different events throughout 
the year, many of which are open to men and women.

However, all activities and events involving Yeshiva boys and Seminary girls 
are separate since if they wouldn't be then the students wouldn't 
participate.

Lema'an Achai is here to serve the community, the entire community, 
irrelevant of affiliation.

We appreciate this initiative of Yeshivat Lev HaTorah and welcome any other 
initiatives to benefit our local community.
