[RBS] Anyone know how to treat mold on wood?

[The Jerenbergs]

I have a bookcase that has a spot growing mold on it, what do I do?? 
Does anyone know how to kill it, without damaging the wood?
So far all I did was rub it with a damp paper towel with some bleach and water..
