[RBS] Raising Money for the Legal Team for Eli Cohen

I have sent out this letter to the two RBS lists, Bet Shemesh List, personal
facebook account, and two other bet shemesh lists

 

As you all know, Bet Shemesh  has become  the most surreal place in Israel,
where 50% of the city are ultra Orthodox (Charedi ) and the other 50% are
Traditional, Secular, and Modern Orthodox

who just want to live peacefully.  We thought that despite the fact that we
are 50% against 50% , we will have a chance to win the local elections and
to bring some sanity to the town.

We started the campaign last February with Eli Cohen for mayor. The
elections happened on October 22nd       2013 and we lost by  900 votes from
35000.

 

The elections fraud

The day after the elections we began to hear stories of people voting 5
times, of school girls who were asked to wear costumes and go and fake
identity. Of terrible disorder in certain ballot boxes, 

of people who went to vote and discovered that they "already voted", that
means that someone else went to vote instead of them.  Of people who
couldn't go to Vote and gave their ID card to someone else ,

so he can vote for them and got money for that.The top news of the Election
Day was that the police had caught 200 fake ID cards  and costumes and wigs
at the very same day of the elections, here in Bet Shemesh.

We took legal declarations from people, we took an expensive lawyer and gave
the appeal.  On Wednesday, November 27th. 2013 att the very same day, the AG
gave his on appeal based on the  police investigation which  was done
secretly separated from our investigation.  

 

We took one of the best lawyer and the cost is about $30,000 for the appeal,
we're still collecting money and we will appreciate if your help Bet Shemesh
.
