[RBS] How to check a restaurant's kashrut

Is there a way to check a restaurant's kashrut online from an official
source?
Is there a way to check the level of kashrut of a given place, short of
relying on the restaurant when you call them or actually going to the
establishment?

I know that eluna exists but how well is this site maintained and how often
do they recheck their information? I noticed a restaurant that is featured
on http://www.rest.co.il, which is supposedly the establishment's own site,
claims to be mehadrin but on eluna they are listed as Rabbanut Yerushalayim
(plain).
