[RBS] Rav Malinowitz's Words about Har Habayit

The following is a very short digest of Rav Malinowitz's introduction to the
"Erev Iyun on Har Habayit" that took place this last week in RBS. I want to
thank Rabbi Myers and Kehillat Menorat HaMaor for hosting the event.

Many, many areas in Halacha are very complicated and are full of complex
shaylos: shechita, making Tefillin, making
Matzoh, even how to blow shofar is worthy of sefarim and more sefarim and
booklets.

The halachos of Har HaBayit are no more complicated than these. But the more
familiar halachos have been delved into and developed, whereas others have
not (yet).
 
People understand the value in being able to eat matza and to wear tefillin.
If people would develop the value of going up to Har HaBayit, then all
Halachic issues will be dealt with, and a normative path will be formed.
When there is no value, then it’s a big mountain that seems impossible to
climb (but really isn't).

The Rav spoke about the different "machanot," and the effect it has today on
the different levels of tumah that people have.

The Rav concluded with the very relevant halachos of Mora Mikdash, that can
only be fulfilled on Har HaBayit.
