[RBS] Looking for Preparation program for interviews

There are institutes that run one or two day intensive individualized preparation programs to prepare for interviews. 
Does anyone have any tried and true experience with them, preferably someone who has succeeded in landing a job 
after going through one of these programs?
The person who wants this course is already employed but will be competing for a higher level position and wants to get an edge.
The sooner the better. Tried and true is always better.
