Looking for something *FREE*, *FUN*, and *MEANINGFUL* to do with the kids
this summer?  ****

Whether you live in **Israel** or are coming to ****Israel**** on a
vacation and are looking for something wholesome to do with the kids,
AMIT's July volunteer events will turn your summer vacation into A MITzvah!
 ****

JULY 2013 AMITzvah SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:****

** **

*July 3: Vegetable picking and candy packaging in the Rechovot area, 3:00 pm
*

Leket **Israel** and AMIT are teaming up to bring you an afternoon in the
fields near Rechovot picking vegetables for distribution to ****Israel****’s
needy.  We’ll also be packaging candy bags as special treats for the kids
of AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled children’s home in ****Jerusalem****.  The
program will begin at 3:00 pm in an air conditioned AMIT school in Rechovot
where we will package the candy, and then we will continue to the Leket
fields for veggie picking.****

*July 10: Tie-dying extravaganza - 10:30 am at AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled in
Gilo, Jerusalem ***

Join the tie-dye fun! We’ll  be tie-dying drawstring bags which will later
be filled with special surprises for the children who reside at AMIT Frisch
Bet Hayeled. ****

 ****

*July 24: Pack your bags - 10:30 am at AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled in Gilo,
Jerusalem.***

The children who live with surrogate families at AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled
shuttle back and forth between homes for holidays and Shabbat. We’ll
package tie-dyed travel kits for each kid so they’ll be prepared with what
they need when they are on the go. ****

*July 31: Brighten up the playground – 4 pm at AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled in
Gilo, Jerusalem***

The playground walls at AMIT Frisch Bet Hayeled could use a facelift. We'll
add a splash of color to the space with an afternoon of wall painting that
will give the playground a whole new look. ****
