 We just walked out of the meeting with a suggestion of how the Mayor could
help the library. The Mayor will have to be briefed and asked if he agrees.
If he agrees, we have a short-term solution. If he does not agree, we will
not open on Thursday.

This would be a good time to plead with the Mayor to agree.
