[RBS] IMPORTANT: Please make every effort to attend Bar Kol hearing on Thursday.

As you may know, Bar Kol, located at the corner of Lachish and Sorek, is
looking to add two floors.

*They've received initial approval, subject to the city making ridiculous
changes in the traffic patterns.* Changes that will affect everyone who
every drives up or down Sorek.

Changes that will affect anyone who has children in one of the many schools
along Sorek.  Or whose children attend chugim or events in the Mercaz Sport.

A group of residents has come together, hired a lawyer and collected more
than 100 signatures - signed before the lawyer - to protest these changes
and prevent Bar Kol - and Iriyat Beit Shemesh - from going ahead with their
plans.

*This week Thursday, May 23rd, 2013* the District Board will be holding a
hearing about these issues.

The results of these hearings will literally* affect everyone in RBS A with
a car, even if you don't live near Bar Kol.*  It will also affect those who
live in the area, or find themselves in the area for school or other
reasons, whether you have a car or not.

*2.* * Change your plans for Thursday to be sure you can attend this
hearing.*  Every person's attendance will contribute.

We all have better things to do.  The timing is lousy.  The location is
lousy.  But if we don't inconvenience ourselves this once, we'll be
inconvenienced thousands of times for years to come.
