To the entire Biking and running and fitness community. Unfortunately, I am sorry to announce that after four years, Al Derech Burma is closing up shop. I have tried very hard to provide a valuable service to the biking, running and fitness related community but the new realities on the ground have made it clear that, an independent specialty retail sports store in Israel is no longer a viable business model. I am grateful to the many of you have supported and patronized the shop over the past four years.
We still have plenty of stock left, dozens of bikes, gloves, pumps, inner tubes, spare parts, hundreds of pairs of great shoes, treadmills, ellipticals, running and biking gear, helmets and more that we will be selling at clearance prices. You might want to stock up on some other things such as gels, magnesium and isotonic drinks which are not so readily available. Please feel free to spread the word among all your friends and neighbors. There are great deals to be had and I look forward to greeting everyone in the shop one last time. We are open Sunday through Thursday from 10-7 and on Friday from 9-2. The projected closing date is November 30th. Thanks again for your support.
