[RBS] public transportation from kotel?

I loathe the balagan of the Number 1 bus from the Kotel. Anyone have any
alternate ideas of how to get from the Kotel via public transportation that
will get me back to a 417 stop somewhere in Yerushalayim but that is less
push and shove? Don't mind walking a little bit.
