[RBS] CAP 1 3% ATM CHARGE CONFIRMED

i just received a reply from cap 1's customer service confirming that effective jan 24, they will add a 3% charge to atm withdrawals made outside the usa. i have to clarify whether the $2 foreign atm fee is added on-the email didn't specify and i will query that. there is no longer, apparently, any reimbursement for up to 6 non-cap 1 atm transactions per month. still no ftc for credit card purchases.i will post any clarifications that i receive.it was great while it lasted. there are some alternatives such as ally bank, but haven't seen anything as cost-effective as what cap 1 offered.anyone with a good "plan b", please post.joshua i. ribermonsey>rbsa 2010
