After a long period of no availability, the supplier has informed me that he now has 3 kg. Halokarbon fire extinguishers in used containers. New, they cost 725 nis. (Google for this information.) Used container is 450 nis. 470 nis if you want delivery, 475 to RBS D. Read on to learn the information and respond or call to order. Here’s your opportunity folks – I searched, I researched, and the rest is the story below: After seeking to purchase a fire extinguisher from every place I imagined they'd be available, I discovered they must be ordered online from a company that manufactures them for a significant amount of money. In order to make them available to the neighborhood, I decided to volunteer to take on distribution of a less expensive option for the area. Upon researching the various ones available, I chose halon gas 1211 הלון, 3 kg. container – large enough for home use (as opposed to powder which dries out and needs to be continually refilled), able to put out all types of fires: wood, plastic, kitchen (oil, etc.), electric. (classifications A, B & C) I found a supplier who is willing to provide them for 350 if you come to my home to collect it; 370 if you want delivery to your home and you're in Beit Shemesh/Ramat Beit Shemesh A, B & G. 585 nis if you need a brand new container, but it’s the material INSIDE that counts! I'm sure they don't need to be 'sold' - suffice to say every home, gan, office, etc., should have at least one! Please indicate your desire to order a fire extinguisher as well as whether or not you require home delivery by replying to this email. Interesting to note that the more research I did on the dry powder extinguishers, the more warnings I saw – including danger of inhalation, etc. <http://www.mfs-fire-extinguishers.co.uk/dry-powder.htm> Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers: Often termed the ‘multi-purpose’ extinguisher, as it can be used on classes A, B & C fires. Best for running liquid fires (Class B). Will efficiently extinguish Class C gas fires, BUT BEWARE, IT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO EXTINGUISH A GAS FIRE WITHOUT FIRST ISOLATING THE GAS SUPPLY. Special powders are available for class D metal fires. Warning: when used indoors, powder can obscure vision or damage goods and machinery. It is also very messy.
