More slots available... A great place to send your kids for swimming lessons in Rama Alef. A huge, indoor, heated pool. Going through the Winter till RoshChodesh Nissan (Off for Chanukka). Boys are Sunday and Wednesday afternoon; Girls are Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. The best part is- if you are in Leumit and have the Gold coverage, you are eligible to semi private therapeutic swimming classes at 49 shekel a class, instead of 130. Group classes of up to 6 kids in a group are 75 shekel a class. (This isn't covered by Leumit, as it isn't therapeutic swimming) Separate days for boys and girls. 4 simple steps to ironed clothing: 1. Just put all your clean DRY clothing that needs ironing into a bag. 2. Add a LARGE COLORED note listing your name and telephone number on it. If there is no note in the bag with your name and phone number, I will not iron the clothing in that bag. 3. Include one hanger per item. 4. Drop off anytime from Sunday til Thursday noon. No need to call first. You will get a call within 24 hours telling you when it is ready to pick up and how much money to bring. Pick up times are from Sun-Thursday 7:30PM-9PM. Or you can call to set up a time that is good to come. All shirts come with starch on the sleeves and collars unless you specify no starch on the slip of paper. Emily Rose Lubin was a 20 old lone soldier from Atlanta and was killed this week by an Arab while guarding the walls of the Old City . Her Parents said she always kept Shabbos and never spoke a word of lashon hora. She was also on kibbutz Saad at her adoptive Israeli family on October 7th and helped protect the kibbutz . Everyone loved her. They said she was a light for everyone.The way people spoke about her at her levaya , you just fell in love with her. Her levaya was attended by 1000s on Har Herzl yesterday. She lived for doing good and loved Eretz When you light Shabbos candles today ( if possible early) let it be a zchus for an aliyas neshama for her. She is sitting right next to HKBH and from the way everyone spoke about her we can see why HaShem Chose her to be close to Him. She will Bezh be a Meilitz Yeshara for all of Am Yisrael. Her family said she was a fighter for everything she believed in. She also composed music and had a beautiful voice. Let her sing and fight for us all in shamayim and ask HaShem to end all the suffering for the Geula soon. As they said at her levaya May she be our last churban. There is a beautiful quote attributed to Rose "I am not going to wait for the world to do something great for me, I'm going to do something great for the world" If we can do something tremendous li'iluy nishmasa, she will continue to be able to do something great for the world even after her tragic death.

Help for a Bar Mitzvah Boy from the South

They “moved” here recently and have to move again next week and have no idea where his Aliya will be so this is an opportunity to bring him some simcha at his Bo bayom. It will be a small event of only 60 people. We have many professionals volunteering their time- a balloon person, musician, photographer- all we need is food :) The Hechsherim they request are Rav Machpud and Badats Eidah Charedit or Rav Rubin. Please fill in whatever you can or pass this on to others . That is as helpful as signing up!
