The book of Tanya was written by the first Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rav Schner Zalman from Liadi, also known at the Alter Rebbe/Baal Tanya, in the 1700's. Once you've learned some of it, you realize that it's filled with life changing insights, and that is why, even though I am not chabad, as a Torah based life coach, I found myself very drawn to its wisdom and very much want to share it with all Jewish women! It discusses very deep, hidden Torah in a way that brings it down to our level and can really be applied and practical.
