MENACHEM SCHECHTER, M.D. Gastroenterology (Adult) Dr Schechter is a US trained gastroenterologist, who treats the full spectrum of GI issues including inflammatory bowel disease, IBS, liver diseases and cancer prevention. He has expertise in endoscopic procedures, as well as acupuncture which he tries to integrate into patient care. He works in Shaare Zedek Medical Center and is head of the GI unit at Misgav Ladach Hospital.Dr. Schechter specializes in treating a wide variety of gastrointestinal issues and utilizes a patient- centered approach which attempts to minimize unnecessary tests and integrates complementary elements including diet and acupuncture
