You need to do "urpmi strace" (as root) first. (Or use rpmdrake to
install it 
graphically).

Then run:

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so strace -e open skype
}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
