Several municipalities maintain a special place for disposal of used
electronic equipment for recycling.

In Petah Tikva (my city), for example, there is a container in Gisin St.
(I don't remember the exact house number) for this purpose.  I have been
using it for disposal of my old electronics during the last few years.
