What a surprise! Neither does the MaccabiOnline site (because "only
Internet Explorer is sufficiently secure", as I have been informed by
Maccabi). It was mentioned here not long ago that neither does the Clalit
site.
I do not think informing any of these people is an effective approach.
Maccabi, for example, has told me repeatedly that that they have received
many complaints, and that they have no plans to accommodate them. I think
that the ONLY approach that is potentially productive would be to start
with the State Comptroller (Mevaker haMedina), and make the point that
even those who are not Windows users pay the same taxes and sick-fund
feesand are entitled to the same services from the State and
State-regulated bodies. And then to go on to a court case (doesn't
somebody have an attorney brother-in-law?) making the same argument.
Pointing out that we are deprived will cut zero ice, because the voice of
the small percentage of users of these sites that do not use Windows is
simply too feeble.

When I mentioned some years ago to the Bezeq business office that I do not
have Windows on my machine (I had only OS2 then, which would not yet work
with their ADSL), I was informed that I was talking nonsense, because
every computer has Windows.
Just as landlords of rental apartments with central heating feel they have
fulfilled their responsibility by keeping the temperature so high that
nobody complaints that they are cold, and ignore anybody that prefers not
to have to perspire in January, none of these sites gives a tinker's dam
about the few whose browsers don't dig Windowese. Complaining will not
help.
