Hi all,

My name is Shlomi Fish and I'm a Tel Aviv-based software developer and writer.
At the moment, I'm looking for a job as a programmer or something similar -
I've done many different things in the past and am not too picky.

You can find my résumé here - http://www.shlomifish.org/me/resumes/ , my
portfolio of open source code and other software resources here -
http://www.shlomifish.org/open-source/ and essays and articles I've written
here - http://www.shlomifish.org/philosophy/ .

I've been developing on Unix and with Perl 5 since 1996 , and been programming
for DOS and Windows much earlier and have graduated from the Technion with a
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. I'm mostly actively working with Perl, C (and
some C++) and Bash, but I'm proficient in many other languages and am a quick
learner.

It's been a while since I got a good job offer from a workplace at a good
location, with reasonable requirements to which I was a suitable fit, whose
job ad or web-site did not leave a bad impression, and which actually replied
to me, and which initiated a job interview process. I've become a little
desperate but I am still contributing to free and open source software (FOSS)
in part because I love to program, and even more so if my code can prove of
immediate use to other people.

Please let me know if you or your workplace would be interested in hiring me.
If this is the case, please return to me by email or by using one of the means
in my contact page: http://www.shlomifish.org/me/contact-me/ .

Regards,

	Shlomi Fish
