Thanks, good to know... It appears that every 3 years when I go "shopping"
for computer parts, half these companies have come and gone, and I no longer
know which one has which reputation... My 10 year-old-hub that I mentioned was
from Intel, and it still works.

You are right, this sounds like it's exactly what I want, and 230 shekels
is actually less than what I thought of spending (heck, I spent 600 shekels
on the so-called "router" (I hate this term!) just to get a 1 Gbps one).
Unless somebody jumps with "but hey, D-Link is even worse than Edimax!"
war-stories, it looks like I'll go ahead and buy this one, and hope it works
(if it doesn't, at least I'll have a brick 10 times faster than I have now ;-)).
