On Monday (TOMORROW), July 5th at 18:30, Haifux will gather to hear Ram
Rachum talk about his project:
GarlicSim: An experimental tool
for computer simulations
Abstract:
GarlicSim is an ambitious open-source project in the field of scientific
computing, specifically computer simulations. It attempts to redefine the
way that people think about computer simulations, making a new standard for
how simulations are created and used. GarlicSim is a platform for writing,
running and analyzing simulations. It is general enough to handle any kind
of simulation: Physics, game theory, epidemic spread, electronics, etc. You
may be wondering, what do these simulations have in common? We'll try to
answer this question in this lecture. We will see examples of some
simulations in GarlicSim and the tools that it provides for running and
analyzing them.
