Sorry, Oleg, I thought I was the only one who used a two year old  
netbook. :-)

The current standard for laptops is HDMI because you can plug it into  
any TV set, now that everyone has digital widescreen TVs. (or so the  
vendors of laptops would make you think). HDMI is usable on DVI  
monitors too.
