We just migrated from Nagios/collectd to Iciniga/Ganglia and I like it.
Zabbix is also very nice on GUI, better than Ganglia - very convenient
interface. The problem is that apparently it can only be configured via the
GUI (no way to script its configuration, e.g. through Puppet).
