Need help on configuring wireless on a clean dell Vostro with RH 5.

Hi,

I am trying to configure wireless on my new and clean Dell Vostro which is
installed with RH 5.

While the direct netowrk was up at once and I was able to use Firefox,
trying to connect via wireless did not succeed.

The wireless card is "Atheros communication wireless" device is wlan0.

When I try to acivate it from the network configuration tab I get :
/sbin.ifup for wlan0 not found ,Usage: ifup < device name>.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
