A considerable part of KDE devs live in Europe so their time shouldn't
be that far off, but I think that if you treat IRC as regular chat and
expect answers at that speed you just have a wrong expectancy, a lot
of people have IRC open in the background and look every few
hours/days only on the busier lists can you expect a chat like
experience...
