Again, if the two endpoints are trusted and the communication method
is trusted what's in between them (the provider) is irrelevant.
Do I trust android? Depends who's phone, a phone constantly in my
control that I know all software came from trusted sources and has
some level of security sw installed yes, someone else's phone where I
have no idea whether they went ahead and clicked "yes yes yes" on all
kinds of programs from God knows where absolutely not.
Sadly there is plenty of malware out there for Android which mostly
relies on users installing software from untrusted sources.
