That's kind of a moot argument, jewish law doesn't allow various other
things about which there is known responsa where it was allowed for
mossad/isa agents on assignments (the one that springs to mind is
intercourse, I don't remember the particulars though, if the agent was
male, female and married or single).

I agree, plagerism kind of comes up in the debate about copying
software more then it comes up in the one about music/movies, it was
part of a shiur I once heard on the subject so it kind of bubbled back
up here.
