MAILFROM in crontab solved the problem. I wonder if it's because this
is a different version of postfix or because of the move from Mandriva
to Mageia. In any case, thanks.

BTW - based on your suggestion, I wanted to look at the MTA logs and
discovered that Mageia's logs are in a completely different format - no
more individual log files as in Mandriva, but journalctl - another new
thing to learn about :-)
