On Monday, March 18th at 18:30, Haifux will gather to hear a talk by
Jonathan Ben-Avraham:

Kernel Cybernetics: How to get useful information from the kernel
archives

Abstract

Beginning kernel programmers spend a large portion of their time looking
for information regarding specific kernel versions, patches, the history
of particular files and about submitters. It is easy to specify the
information needed, but there is no well-known howto or cheat-sheet for
finding it. This lecture presents a cheat-sheet for getting answers to
the most kernel hacking common queries. The lecture will be in Hebrew.
The lecture materials will be in English.
