Hi,

Crossix Solutions is searching for a seasoned Linux Dev-Ops and IT Operations Administrator to join our IT and Data Infrastructure team in Kiryat Ono. Crossix provides big data analytics services and maintains multiple data centers in the US. Our IT and Data Infrastructure team works closely with R&D to support development efforts and maintain our data infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  *   Engineering of SA-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
  *   Contribute to and maintain system standards.
  *   Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  *   Design, implement and maintain ongoing automated system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes; analyze system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  *   Ongoing performance tuning and capacity planning.
  *   Provide Tier II support per request from various constituencies including third parties. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  *   Development of administrative utilities.

Experience

  *   At least 8 years of Linux system administration / dev-ops.
  *   Remote server administration.
  *   Managerial experience - a plus.
  *   BA in computer science - a plus.

Qualities & Qualifications

  *   Thorough Linux knowledge, including bash scripting, OpenVPN, Apache & Tomcat, OpenSSL, MySQL, and Nagios.
  *   Responsible, independent, fast learner and thorough.
  *   Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills.
  *   Windows proficiency - a plus.
