A gentle introduction to OpenGL, anyone?

A gentle introduction to OpenGL, anyone?

So far I got the following suggestions:
* http://nehe.gamedev.net/
* http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0321552628/khongrou-20
* http://www.opengl-redbook.com/
(Thanks, Boris Shtrasman and Dov Grobgeld.)

However, it seems that the materials describe deprecated OpenGL
versions.
Specifically, I am looking for materials which also teach about "shader
files", which I see in Qt5.5 projects demonstrating OpenGL.
