[RBS] Confused about postal rates

Since this ihas been asked repeatedly, I am replying to the list.

According to the Israel postal web site the cost to mail a letter to the US
is 6.70 nis for a standard letter weighing up to 100 grams

Can anyone clarify how much it costs to mail a letter from here to the USA?
It was NIS 3.30 back when I last mailed something.
