NEW: Based on demand, groups now opening for 1st and 2nd graders.

Weekly social skills groups in RBS-A, in English, with a clinical social worker.

Could your child use some extra help with one or more of the following?:

-learning how to make friends
-self esteem
-impulse control
-dealing with anger
-living with limits
-learning to calm down
-assertiveness
-coping with tough kids
-teamwork
-labeling and managing emotions
-expressing feelings
-learning how to read social cues

If yes, then this group is for your child!

Separate groups for boys and girls. Group topics to be selected based on the needs of the group members.

The group leader, Elana Dvinsky, LCSW will also regularly work with parents sothat the skills learned in the groups can be integrated and reinforced at home.Elana is a clinical social worker with years of experience working withchildren, adolescents and families and running effective social skills groupsfor children in the US.
