[RBS] SEEKING INFO: RBS A Burglaries

I have heard about a number of break-ins in the neighborhood and I am
wondering if the people who were broken into:

1. Had bars on their windows and the bars were removed
2. Were using burglar alarms that were active (on at the time of the
burglary)
Or
3. Was it through an open window or unlocked door

Trying to figure out what the best way is to protect our homes in the area.

If you are acquainted with any burglary in the past few years and have info
about them, let me know.
I will publish the results to the list, if anyone answers (without the
identifying info)

My main question is if the burglar alarms are working or if the homes that
are being broken into don't have alarms installed or if they weren't on at
the time of the robbery.
