The amount of new mortgages was 70% above the monthly average for the 12
preceding months.Conclusion:The housing market is bubbling again.
Some of the factors that caused the increase:low interest rate prevailing
and the public's assessment that real estate prices will not fall.
The surge in mortgages is expected to continue in September. Some mortgage
banks report that they are struggling to meet demand
