Rabbanit Oshra Koren is the director of MaTaN HaSharon (The Mindy
Greenberg Women's Institute for Torah Studies) where she teaches
Talmud and Tanach. Oshra founded the MaTaN Bat Mitzvah program, now
running in over seventy locations in the Diaspora and throughout
Israel. She leads the Bat Kol Ensemble. Oshra is a sought after
speaker both in Israel and abroad.


Matan Bet Shemesh classes combine a deep commitment to tradition and
halacha, with traditional and modern scholarship. This year, hundreds
of members of the community have participated in our Hebrew and
English classes, bat mitzvah programs, Tanach tiyulim, mini-series’
and community lectures. The mission of Matan Bet Shemesh is to provide
women with inspirationally uplifting and intellectually stimulating
textual study, and to promote women’s Torah scholarship and
leadership.
