Many have heard of Machon Shilo and HaRav David Bar-Hayim who delivers shiurim here in Ramat Beit Shemesh, but far fewer have actually heard the Torah of HaRav Bar-Hayim. The Rav posits that Jewish practice must reflect the fact that massive numbers of Jews have returned to Eretz Yisrael after 2000 years of Exile. Recently, HaRav Bar-Hayim was interviewed by a Torah scholar which gave the Rav the opportunity to demonstrate the basis for his position regarding Torath Eretz Yisrael.
