Dear Ladies,

Sit down, have a cup of coffee and take a few minutes to check out the 
exciting courses we will be offering. Our Spring semester will be 
starting right after Pesach! We look forward to seeing everyone after 
such a long break.

Note to anyone who ordered the video of our fundraising musical 
production "Circle of Faith": Due to circumstances beyond our control 
the video has been delayed. We are working to get it finished as soon as

finding the time? Learn how to find your voice and generate sources of 
inspiration. Learn what editors require in a submission, and how to give 
your writing a professional touch. This workshop will help you to

REBBETZIN SIMI MALINOWITZ

A very practical Hilchos Shabbos class. This is the beginning of a 
series which will IY”H cover the principles governing Hilchos Shabbos. 
This awareness will help us apply these principles to shailos that 
arise. In this semester we will focus on the Halachos of Bishul. These 
Halachos should be constantly reviewed by every Jewish woman- so please 
join us!

4. NAVIGATING NEVEIM RISHONIM

MONDAY 11:30 – 12:30

MRS. RENA SIEV

In this course will study Sefer Yehoshua, using the Pesukim and 
Meforshim as a springboard for skill building. By appreciating the 
nuances of the verses and commentators we will come to a better 
understanding of why the exegettes comment as they do, as well as the 
uniqueness of each of the commentators. We will focus on the practical 
lessons learned from the pesukim. This course is suited for those with 
basic or intermediate skills.

5. BINYAN ADEI AD
A SHALOM BAYIS WORKSHOP

A practical, hands-on workshop, that enhances relationship skills. Learn 
the tools that help build and sustain a firm foundation for your
Bayis Ne’eman, develop the skills needed to avert conflict and 
facilitate resolution, and learn to turn “Me-ness” into “We-ness”

6. PACHAD YITZCHAK

Join us as we explore some of the deep and inspiring writings of Rav 
Yitzchok Hutner’s Pachad Yitzchok on Shabbos and Shavuos. We will place 
special emphasis on the practical lessons learned from the essays. All 
skill levels welcome.

7. PARSHA CONCEPTS FOR THE SOUL OF THE JEWISH WOMAN

TUESDAY 10:20 – 11:20

In this course we will explore some themes that will refresh one’s 
perspective and increase one’s Avodas Hashem. Each week an idea from the 
Parsha will be selected and explained according to classical Torah 
commentators and Chassidic writings. The emphasis of the class will be 
on points that are especially relevant to the life of the Jewish Woman. 
All skill levels welcome.

8. LIVING THE SHEMONA ESREI

TUESDAY 11:30 – 12:30

MRS. TAMI KATZ

In this course we will study the Shemona Esrei as a ‘living tefila.’ As 
we comprehend the meaning of the text, we will primarily focus on 
applying the theme of every bracha to daily living, particularly as 
Jewish women. In addition to enhancing our formal tefila, the goal of 
the course is to have the themes we learn running through our minds- so 
that we learn how to pray informally throughout our day.

9. IYUN B’PARSHANUS HAMIKRA

WEDNESDAY 10:00 – 11:00

May 6, 13, 20, 3, 10, 17, 24

MRS. RIVKA SAPERSTEIN

This course is a continuation from our Winter 2009 semester, although 
all newcomers are welcome. Join us as we explore the beautiful world of 
the Mifarshei Ha’Chumash. Each week we will analyze some verses in the 
Chumash along with some richly varied approaches of the classic Torah 
commentaries. Please bring a Mikraos Gedolos to each class. Advanced 
skills and motivation advised.

10. CHINUCH BONIM PART III

WEDNESDAY 8:30 – 9:30 PM

May 6, 13, 20, 3, 10, 17, 24, July 1

MRS. ATTARA WAXMAN

Sorry, this course is closed to new participants.
The goal of this parenting class is to learn more about ourselves and 
our children. We will learn to hone our interpersonal skills while 
learning how to speak with our children. We will learn how to avoid 
conflict and develop problem solving skills. Practically, we will keep 
our eyes focused on the long term goals, and on the Torah perspective 
regarding how to
relate to others. For example, we will learn to be dan l’kaf zechus and 
preserve our authority
as parents, while considering our child’s perspective.
