Bill Prohibiting Antennas on Public Institutions

A bill by MK Yulia Smalov-Berkowitz (Kadima) that would prohibit placing 
mobile phone antennas within the boundaries of schools, hospitals, nursing 
homes, etc., passed a preliminary reading in the Knesset plenum Wednesday by 
a vote of 53 in favor and only 1 against.

"This bill is designed to protect the hundreds of thousands of residents of 
hostels, nursing homes, schools, kindergartens and various institutions that 
are exposed unwillingly to mobile communication wavelengths and guard them 
from the influence of cellular radiation on their health," said
