Vehigadeta Levincha Film Series, Part 1, entitled "Emunotcho Baleilot".

It is a FULL LENGTH (54 minutes) broadcast-standard documentary produced by JRoots in association with Aish UK under the direction of a top BBC producer.

The film is a powerful new original documentary that brings to the viewer compelling film footage edited from numerous personal interviews with Survivors. They record the legacy of faith and commitment of a special cadre of Holocaust Survivors. It is about the issue of emunah, bitachon and Jewish comittment of Survivors. As far as we know, nothing else exists like it in Holocaust education and records to date. Iy”H it will be a great Kiddush Hashem.

The Vehigadeta Levincha film series attempts to capture the neshama, the Jewish soul, of a particular group of Survivors, without any prejudice or judgment of any other group - for future generations. With disarming candor many Survivors talk for the first time about faith, belief and practice before, during and after the Holocaust. For many the question remains "Where was G-d in Auschwitz?" For this group of Survivors interviewed all over the world, it was a statement of fact - "There was G-d in Auschwitz." Many felt G-d had abandoned them. To these luminaries of strength and resilience, we asked the question, "Why did you not abandon Him?"

Their authentic answers are their legacy to the Past, Present and Future of the Jewish People.

PLEASE NOTE: The film contains some vivid Holocaust photographs/scenes that may not be suitable for children and therefore parental discretion is advised.
