Two dynamic speakers, an inspiring video, an emotionally uplifting choir and
a fun-filled Chinese auction top-line the Alei Siach organization's "Angels
In Our Midst II" extravaganza for women only, this coming Motzaei Shabbos,
January 29, at Beis Yisrael Hall (7:30pm) in Jerusalem.

As last year's event was a rousing success, which helped raise awareness and
funding for Alei Siach's innovative outreach programs for special needs
youngsters and adults within the metro Jerusalem community, the committee
decided to take the "angels" program to an even higher level this year.
Chaired by Riva Pomerantz, this year's program will include:

Mrs. Hinda Ben-Ezra, the mother of a Down's Syndrome child will speak about
how her son was provided with the educational, physical and spiritual 'life'
tools that eventually led him to the chuppah! Mrs. Ben-Ezra's compelling
story will be accentuated by a video that focuses on the couple's and Alei
Siach's day-to-day activities.

Rabbi Daniel Asor will be speaking about his amazing 'high-flying' journey
to the truth, recalling how a Gentile F-16 fighter pilot helped bring him
back to Judaism and spurred him to become a globe-trotting
counter-missionary.

Raya Shulman and her Kol Shirah Choir will provide the upbeat musical
interlude during the course of the evening.

Participants are urged to come early and partake in the fun-filled Chinese
auction, as prize viewing will begin promptly at 7:30 P.M. The impressive
prize list includes a 'dream vacation for two to Switzerland'!

Lights refreshments will be served.

Tickets are selling for NIS 65 in advance and NIS 75 at the door.

About Alei Siach:

Alei Siach was founded in 1990 by a group of concerned parents, led by
Rabbi Chaim Perkal, who much to their chagrin discovered that there were
virtually no communal outreach services available to those families who had
autistic and other special needs children at home. Rabbi Perkal opened the
first "home" for autistic children in Jerusalem in 1991. Today, Alei Siach's
round-the-clock devotion to providing housing, occupational and
rehabilitation skills to hundreds of special needs children and young adults
365 days a year, has been lauded by Israel's Ministry of Social Welfare and
President Shimon Peres.
