Last year families from the RBS/Beit Shemesh areas attended the Kibbutz
Tzora activity and had a blast.  See below for more fun things to do and
teach your children.

Nature Movie: Urban Nature in Jerusalem
9/10, 10/10, 11/10, 16/10, 17/10, 18/10
At: 12:00, 13:00, 14:00
Join us for a movie of urban wildlife filmed in Jerusalem by wildlife
photographer Amir Balaban.  For all ages.
Cost:  10 NIS per person 

Bird Ringing Demonstration
11/10,  14/10, 16/10                At: 08:30
Join the researchers at the JBO as they conduct a bird ringing session.
Learn about the research and about the birds that are passing through the
city on migration and other urban wildlife.
Cost: 15 NIS adults, 10 NIS child.  SPNI members- 10 NIS adults, 5 NIS
child. Free to JBO members

***Night Hike at the Jerusalem Bird Observatory

Search for wild animals at night in the center of the city  - owls,
porcupines, bats and much more. At the Jerusalem Bird Observatory.  For ages
5 and over.
Cost: 25 NIS adults, 20 NIS child; SPNI members 20 NIS adults, 15 NIS child.

 To Africa and Back

Meet the birds who are migrating through Israel back to Africa. Join us for
a celebration of migration - games, African dance class, bird ringing, and
much more.
Cost: 25 NIS adults, 20 NIS child; SPNI members 20 NIS adults, 15 NIS child.

 Nature Detectives
11/10,  17/10,  19/10               At: 10:00
Become a nature detective. Go on a hike and search for signs of animals,
insects and birds.  Where do they live, what are they eating?  Age 5 and up.
Cost: 25 NIS adults, 20 NIS child; SPNI members 20 NIS adults, 15 NIS child.

Birds of Tzora
14/10                                       At: 08:30
Join the bird ringing team at the reservoir next to Kibbutz Tzora. Search
for migrating birds in the nearby fields and around the reservoir.  
Cost: 30 NIS adults, 25 NIS child; SPNI members 25 NIS adults, 20 NIS child.

Migrating birds at Maagan Michael
10/10/11
We will explore the fishponds of Maagan Michael and surrounding kibbutzim
looking for migrating birds such as storks, pelicans and more.  Bus leaves
Jerusalem at 06:00.
Cost:   200 NIS, SPNI members 175 NIS, JBO members 140 NIS

Art work of the famous artist of Israeli nature - Walter Ferguson.
Exhibition opens on 27/101/11 at 18:00
