Good news!!!! 

The national planning board just sent us a letter indicating that it has
agreed to some of the items in our appeal regarding the plans for RBS Gimmel
2 and have asked the regional council to go back to the drawing board on
numerous issues. They have scheduled another session for May 6, assuming
that the regional board submits the changes in time for that. This is a huge
success!!! Aside from pushing off construction even further (it is now very
unlikely that permits can be issued before the next elections...), almost a
year of fighting is paying off and our complaints are being addressed. So
first of all - a big thank you to everyone who signed objections, donated
funds, and attended demonstrations. 

To make this happen, I personally signed the contracts for the attorney and
media consultant. I still owe them 20,000 NIS. Aside from this, we need to
pay more money for these new sessions which are to our benefit. I AM ASKING
EVERYONE TO DONATE 50 NIS TO THE CAUSE DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. If everyone
does this, we will pay everyone what is owed (what I, personally owe on
behalf of everyone) and we can cover the continuation of this battle which
is succeeding! I know it is yom tov time and money is tight but we need
this. There is no other way to say it.
