sorry for picking on the south africans, i will use my friend's rewording:

 we are not in Canada here…we did not take over tribal lands, kick
them on to reserves, make them alcoholics and drug addicts, take their
cool names for sports teams (and capitals), and then chase them out of
our cities and parks…..


the  fear of arabs here is not blind fear, or prejudice, it is real
fear based on real history and current events
