[RBS] Orthotics?

I've recently been told that I have flat feet, and as such I need orthotics (midrasim). I know absolutely nothing about this topic. Where's the best place to get them? How much are they supposed to cost? How many pairs does one need to buy? Are special shoes required or do you just put them in any shoes that you have?
