persistent disk numbering

hi

i have 2 sata disks. i boot from both (one at a time of course)

when i disconnect the second, all is persistent, the first stays sda
however when i disconnect the first, the seconds changes from sdb to sda

is there a way to make it persistent ?
(something like UID= or LABEL= as is done in fstab )
