persistent disk numbering

The sd? names are not persistent that's why you may use either
the UUID=, LABEL= etc. or alternatively you may want to look
at:
  /dev/disk/by-label
  /dev/disk/by-uuid
  /dev/disk/by-id
  /dev/disk/by-path
